AMERICATEL ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF SHAUN T. MOORE TO VICE PRESIDENT, DOMESTIC WHOLESALE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Move unifies wholesale voice sales efforts under Americatel umbrella


ROCKVILLE, MD January 18, 2010 - Americatel, http://www.americatel.net a Rockville, MD-based provider of telecom services to ethnic consumers and businesses in the United States and Canada and a wholesale voice services provider to facilities-based and switchless telecom resellers and wireless providers worldwide, announced today that it has appointed Shaun T. Moore Vice President of Domestic Wholesale Business Development, effective immediately.

Reporting to Nermin Selimic, who was recently-appointed Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Moore is responsible for Americatel's rollout of market-ready, lower-cost wholesale domestic and international voice transport services such as its recently announced Feature Group D service offering for ISPs, CLECs, switchless resellers, wireless, cable, and calling card providers as well as high-volume call centers.

Mr. Moore, a sixteen year telecom industry veteran, originally joined Americatel's sister company Matrix Telecom ("Matrix") http://www.matrixbt.com in February 2009 to perform similar duties as Director, Wholesale Business Development. As a part of the successful integration of management and back-office functions between the two firms, Mr. Moore now shifts to Americatel.

He also founded technology consulting and communications services agency 3AD Technologies Inc., specializing in multi location IP phone system and service sales as well as wholesale communications consulting and web development.

He holds bachelors degrees in both History and Art History from Sonoma State University, California.
